The subject of Eva Weerts’ graduation project is the impossibility of understanding other people completely, of communicating without losing some meaning. Weerts finds it hard to put her ideas into words, which is why she made a visual essay. She printed the text partly in intaglio, partly in invisible ink on the in- and outside of a paper house, that’s closed off on top with a pencil. The intaglio can be read in floodlight, the invisible ink becomes visible with the pencil. A map on the inside of the house serves as an index and leads you through the chapters.
