Man and Living
According to Wassink aesthetics are a matter of attention to detail, rather than a slick finish. He visualised this theory with State of Transience: a chair that will never be finished, as it evolves with the materials that are at hand to the maker. Pieces of wood, branches, plastics, string, foam, metal etc. change the appearance of the chair continually. A couple of these stadia have been recorded on photo.
